Lyndsay Levingston
Lyndsay Levingston is a multimedia personality, speaker, writer and philanthropist.
Lyndsay’s vast portfolio includes a decade of experience as a television news anchor, reporter, host and producer in the Houston, Tulsa, Chicago and New York City markets. She has served as a media and public relations consultant for corporations, small businesses, nonprofit organizations and politicians. Lyndsay is a published writer with contributions to ESSENCE and Insider.
Lyndsay was diagnosed with Stage 2B triple-negative breast cancer in July 2019 and deemed cancer-free in February 2020. In October 2020, she founded SurviveHER™, a thriving nonprofit whose mission is to inform, inspire and empower a community of breast cancer SurviveHERs and supporters. Her inspirational story of surviveHERship has been featured across numerous media outlets including ESSENCE magazine, Essence.com, NBC News, Revolt TV, OprahMag.com (now Oprah Daily) and the Houston Chronicle.
SurviveHER™ has received numerous accolades and recognition for its community impact via national proclamations from U.S. Representatives Sheila Jackson Lee and Hakeem Jeffries. Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner proclaimed October 6 “SurviveHER Day” in the city.
The Houston native is a highly sought-after speaker who lends her voice and talents to various community, corporate and social engagements. Lyndsay graduated with honors from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies. She is an active and proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated and the Junior League of Houston.

She works as a Segment Producer/Researcher for the Black News Channel, the nation’s fastest growing news network. Prior, she appeared on and contributed to Channel 2, FOX 26, NTV Houston, FOX Tulsa, New York’s Verizon Fios1 and New York 1 News in various capacities including anchor, host, reporter and producer. Lyndsay also serves as a communications/media consultant for organizations, businesses, and politicians.
Lyndsay is an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. – Mu Kappa Omega Chapter in Missouri City and the Junior League of Houston. She graduated with honors from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies, and dual minors in dance and secondary education.
Lyndsay was diagnosed with Stage 2B triple-negative breast cancer in July 2019. She celebrates her cancer-free status as the founder of SurviveHER™, a breast cancer awareness and wellness nonprofit whose mission is to inform, inspire and empower women. Her story of victory has been featured on Essence.com, OprahMag.com, NBC National News, Ch. 2 and KHOU 11.
